Reappear for H1B visa interview.

Hello All,

I had a visa interview on 21st Dec at Mumbai US embassy. I went to a visa interview with my wife (H4) and daughter (US Citizen). After a few primary questions, visa officer approved our H1B visa and kept our passports.
 
On 27th Dec my wife's visa status updated to "ISSUED" and we picked up her passport on 28th Dec. My visa status was showing Administrative processing until 2nd Jan. 

On 4th Jan I got an email that the passport is ready for pickup, but the visa status was still Administrative processing. I picked up my passport on 6th jan, and When i open my passport, i found green 221(g) mentioning to reappear for the visa interview. The 221(g) notice was "You must appear for an INTERVIEW with a consular office on any working day from 10:30 am to 11:00 am. Please bring this letter and your passport with you. DO NOT make a new appointment".  

Does anybody have the same situation? Should i worry for reappearing for a visa interview? Any input from you guys will be appreciated.

Happens all the time. They might have further questions about your visa application that they might have missed last time. Do not overthink it and reappear whenever you can.
