i Am in L2 in USA ,got H1b approved ,applied by a company with intended to hire

Not working at present .

For stamping in india, In ds160 employment start date ,what should I fill ? (My company didn’t share approval notice and offer letter )

They are asking to fill one past date ex Jan 3.   Can I do that ?  Will it be a problem in future?  

Can I fill the salary?

Usually you need i797 approval copy/receipt number to schedule and to take it to the consulate for visa interview/dropbox. 

Your employer has an obligation to share h1b based i797 with you. Ask your employer about these dates and a copy of 797 to say the least and stay truthful on DS160. If they dont give it to you, change employers. Do not get abused in the name of H1b. 

Complain to USICIS about H1b fraud.
