COS Denied, H1B transfer ?

Hi All,

My current status is OPT Extn and it is expiring on Feb 2019,  My H1B petition approved but COS denied. my question is - does H1B transfer allowed to the different employer (assuming that employer ready to transfer)?

You would have to be on H1b status to be able to "transfer" it to a different employer. If this is your first cap subject H1b approval, you would have to work on that employers payroll under H1b status(meeting all LCA conditions) for a new employer to be able to transfer it.
