RamKumar2345
Hello friends, Please forgive me if this questions has already been answered. I was working on H1B and have a valid visa in my passport until 2020. I had to quit my job and go to India due to personal reasons. I applied for a B2 to re-enter the US and it got rejected with reason 214(b). My question is, if I get a job in the US (with the help of my friends), can I enter US using the same H1B visa stamp? How do I know if it is still valid? Also, since my B2 got rejected (and my officer must have entered some notes on my record), will there be any problems at the port of entry? Will the immigration officer be able to see the notes? Thanks a lot for your help. Link to comment
adshah84
You can enter US using your existing VISA if you have approved I797 from new employer Link to comment
RamKumar2345
Thanks a lot for answering! My visa clearly has my previous employer's name and some numbers associated with the petition (LIN). Can I still use it with future employer's I-797? Link to comment
