Will Amendment rejection affect H1B extension

Hello, My H1B amendment got rejected when I moved to OH from Phoenix but I got a new project in the same client where I worked before in Phoenix.  My question is will the amendment rejection affect H1B extension?

Also I had my last year extn with the same client, same employer and same location and this time also it Will be same as before i.e. Phoenix,  same employer and same clnt... Will this give any additional advantage while applying for extension?

You extension will not get effected though amendment is denied. FYI, when amendment is denied, either you need to go back to old work location (work location as per existing approved I-797 if it is still valid) or leave the country if your existing I-797/I-94 are expired.
