Will H4 stay good if F1 rejected

Hello Sir/Mam

My wife is in the US on a H4 visa. She got a spring-19 admit and is planning to attend F-1 visa interview in India.

I want to know if she can still travel to the USA with H4 visa(which is valid until sep 2021), if the F-1 visa is refused/rejected.

My son was in a similar situation. He traveled to India last month for his F1 Visa and was denied. He  did have his H4 Visa valid till Feb 2019. He came back to the US today on his H4.

All the best and hope your wife does not have to travel back on her H4.
