Hi,

Can you pls provide any inputs based on my case below.

Here is my case :

1) Dec 2013 - Arrested for DV ; No case filed ;

2) Mar 2015 - Court ordered seal and destroy of arrest record ;

3) Nov 2016 - H1B stamping successfully completed ; VO enquired abt arrest and seal/destroy (which I had disclosed in my DS160) - and immediately granted visa upon producing court docs;

4) POE: Always had to go through secondary - apart for a brief wait , no other issues ;

Now I plan to visit India and get my H1B extension stamped in Jan'19 .. here are my questions.

1) Qualified for drop box (no question abt arrest record)  and was not able to schedule a direct in person interview . How will this affect the stamping procedure?

2) What are the chances for consular interview?  If called for an in-person interview , what is the scheduling procedure - as in will I have to choose interview appointment from portal or will I be assigned a date and time?

3) Given above situation what can I expect as timeline for processing and interview outcome?

4) Also, how does the new Nov'18 USCIS enforcement policies have a bearing on above?

Any leads will be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Vish
