rcanjeevaram
Hello Everyone, My H1B amendment has been denied for a new client & location but I have a valid i797 till 2020 from my previous client. Can you please help me with my queries (1) I understand I can reapply to the same client before I can start working again but do I have to go back to my old client & location where my i797 and amendment has been previously approved? (2) If I refile my amendment to the new client and while the decision is in progress, I go back to my old client where the amendment is approved, do I have to file for an amendment again at my old client or am I good since its already been approved and my new amendment application with the new client is still in progress? (3) Can I withdraw my amendment after filing if I have to? Will there be any issues if I do that? (4) If my amendment gets approved at the new client location, I would get a new i797. Will that make my previous i797 invalid? Even if the previous i797 is approved for a longer duration? Please let me know. Thank You Ram Link to comment
