Sid_sd
Hello All, I need your advice on the best possible way forward: My 12 month OPT ends on 4th Feb, 2019 and I recently lost my job due to a layoff. Since, I do not have a job to apply for STEM OPT Extension, what's the best way forward for me to maintain my status and apply for my 24 months STEM OPT Extension. I am applying for jobs/trying to get a temp paid job but with the holiday season (and STEM OPT Extension requirements: Everified, paid, not temp and should be related to what I have studied) its kind of tough. Appreciate any help/reference/connection. Link to comment
satya2k1
Bad luck Sid... Try your best to get a job and apply for OPT ext. and meanwhile work with an employer so that they can apply for your H1 in April. Link to comment
