NotAnAttorney
Emp A is bound by law to inform USCIS and withdraw the petition when you leave the company. Link to comment
Veerucs
After you switch your employer , your old employer must revoke your H1 petition. I don't think that's an option for you once you switch your employer. Link to comment

This is mandatory. If they don't inform USCIS the employment didn't properly end and the employer would have to continue to pay you. If they want to hire you back later they would have to file (and pay for) a new H1 petition. Link to comment
