I-140 approved, but H1B Extension denied for extension after 6 years

Hi,

I have my approved I-140 after my 4.5 years as H1B. Now I am completing my 6 years as H1B on 2-Jan-2019. But my extension request is denied and I have still a month validity of my original H1B. Can I re-apply or re-appeal and stay in US after 2-Jan-2019 or do I need to leave US after 2-Jan-2019?
