Hi,

Can you please provide your guidance and valuable inputs on the below situation.

I am on my 9th year of H1B, I-140 already approved. In Aug 2018, I got 3 years of H1 extension with Client A and I have moved to Client B in October 2018.

Since both clients A & B are in same County with 11 miles distance, I haven't applied Amendment. Now I am planning to go to Mexico for Visa stamping with Client B's letter, Do I need to apply Amendment?

Thanks

You need to apply for amendment to be 100% safe. Never days they check all the information and if anyting is questinable they hand you a 221G. I understand the MSA rule but it is a bit confusing. Cross check with your employer's attorney regarding stamping.
