vinaysandela
After eagerly waiting for the status, I've got to know that my H1B has been denied. My Employer addressed the RFE in Aug and after long wait with hopes, got the decision. Can someone help in suggesting any options that I have? As per my employer, the reason was "Client Letter" Also, What about the fee I paid? Please help as its my first time H1B. Thanks On October 31, 2018, we denied your Form I-129, Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker, Receipt Number WAC18xxxxxxxx. We mailed you a decision notice that explains why we denied your case and your options. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your denial notice by November 15, 2018, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address. Link to comment
NotAnAttorney
First things first, you do not pay for H!B, and that is illegal for you to pay and for the employer to collect. Are you in the USA? There is nothing you could do with this, try your luck next year, find a good job/employer and avoid shady consultancies. Link to comment
TeutonicKnight
Lessons learned: 1. Never join fraud consulting firms that ask employees to pay for H-1B 2. EVC Model is being heavily scrutinized. Tough luck. Look for a legitimate employer! Link to comment
JoeF
The employer had to pay for the H1. There were no fees for you to pay. If you paid something, get it back from the employer. And next time stay away from any employer who wants you to pay for an H1. It is illegal. Link to comment
Tjgarla
No other option. The fee is non refundable. Link to comment
