PSA05
Hello all, I have an approved I-140 (beyond 6 months) on an L1 visa under EB1 cat., and I was laid off just prior to my I-485 being filed. Can I apply for Consular Processing (I'm already out of the country) for the Greencard (by retaining an immigration lawyer) since the I-140 was approved and the priority date is current, or do if I need a new employer who would file a net new petition for me, whilst retaining the priority date of my previously approved petition. I'm looking for recommendations for a good immigration lawyer to consult regarding this situation and appreciate any pointers. Thank you! Link to comment
