Using H4 EAD while COS L1 is pending

Hi,

I have H4 EAD till May 2020 and my spouse is moving from H1-L1. Please clarify the below to continue to work using my current EAD.

L1 applying now which is yet not approved and expected to be approved within 3-4 months.

EAD will be applied along with my spouse L1 and expecting to be approved within 3-5 months.

COS will take at least 10-15 months.

 

I would like to understand the below scenario, so that I can relay the details to my employer during my COS.

1. Is that possible that L1 is approved in 3-4 months and COS is in progress. Can I use my existing EAD to continue job with current employer till my COS approved within 10-15 months? As per my spouse employer, once L1 is approved, I can't use my current EAD till the new EAD and COS approved. Could you please suggest.

2. Is there any possibility that my spouse L1 is approved and EAD also approved in 3-4 months, I should not work until my COS approved. Please suggest,
