Srinivasan1083
Hi - I am currently in the US with family. My H1B expires by 25 Dec 2018. My Employer filed a H Extn in Nebraska in Regular mode and received receipt notice (dated 25 Oct 2018). 1) My wife is pregnant now and expected delivery date in 17th May 2019. The doctors have advised travel before 20 Jan 2019, if we are moving out of the US. Can you pls suggest if upgrading to Premium is advisable? Will it have any risks of petition getting denied. Also, if premium is advisable, by when should i upgrade considering my situation. Link to comment
Chai
Upgrading to PP is recommended. Nebraska center is issuing receipt number after 10 days even though it is premium processing. I am not able to fathom why there is such paranoia regarding denial if upgraded to PP? Link to comment
Srinivasan1083
Okay. There were some news about premium petitions being denied more frequently especially in the last 3-4 months. Does expediting to Premium have any relation to approval/denial of the case? Link to comment
Chai
It seems you are under pressure getting into fatherhood. Hence, such paranoia. Go with your gut feeling- choose or not to choose PP. Link to comment
