typo error on approved i-140

hi guys, 

i was working for company A and we had a approved i-140 with them with priority date of 11/3/2008. left the company joined company b and filled with them to port priority date from company A. they approved it but made a error to put priority date of 11/3/2018. this happen back in june , so they infact put priority date in future, obvious typo error. have filled the case online , told us will take 60 days to fix it. its come and gone already still nothing , have contacted them several time on phone , no response yet . have also contacted state senator as well and send them all the papers to prove that , still nothing . Any idea how long does it take or i should be doing something else . please help !!!

The PD retention seems to occur when the PD is current. So have your lawyers file your AOS, AP and EAD concurrently as the PD would seem to be current based on PD retention. This assumes EB2 and India.

no , my lawyer has not filled i-485 yet . we just ported the date from previous i-140 from previous employer . we are waiting for correct i140 date with correct date on it .

Do we have call and ask status on it .

Ask the lawyer how it works. It is bad form to second guess your lawyer.

You can take infopass appointment and explain in person rather than calling.

Decades of years could be lost if you don't take any actions.
