Maulin Posted November 10, 2018 Report Share Posted November 10, 2018 Hello. I moved out of Florida to Georgia. I cancelled Florida insurance and bought new insurance in GA without any gap. Within month Florida DMV sent me letter(FR700) to submit proof of Florida insurance because I had FL License plates. My registration is still valid. The letter went to my old FL address and by the time I received it, deadline already passed by 1 day and license got suspended automatically. In letter, they ask me to pay reinstate fee. I want to know what will be affect of this suspension when I apply I 485 because if I pay fine it may go on driving record? Do I have to clear this from my record right away or it will have minimum impact and I should pay fee? Thanks Link to comment
