OPT Denial

Hello. USCIS denied my OPT-EAD I-765 Application on November 1st. I graduated on 25th August and last day to apply/reapply for OPT-EAD was October 25th. The reason of denial was I failed to submit the I-765 application within 30 days of requesting new I-20 for OPT.

I got the mail from USCIS on November 3rd that I have 30 days to file the motion to reopen the case. They didn't give me any other option. Also, I can't transfer my SEVIS to another university now. What should I do now? What are my options?

Applying at another university and getting accepted takes several months. SO, that is not possible. And sigining up with a fraud institution would only make things worse for you.

A motion to reopen is not going to work if the error is on your side.

You will have to leave the country.

No. You graduated. And you screwed up your OPT filing. That's it for the F1. There is nothing to reinstate.

You think I can reenter with a spring admission from a different university on my old F-1 visa(with a different SEVIS)?
