PrisonerOfHope
My inlaws arrived 9/12 on B2 visa. At port of entry, my fatherinlaw was given I94 for 3 months and my motherinlaw for 6 months. in the UCIS I94 website, both of their "Admit until Date" is showing for 6 months. Now my question is, can my fatherinlaw stay for 6 months based on USCIS I94 website or 3 months as stamped in his passport? what if he stays for 6 months, will it be considered as overstay? responses appreciated. xTDx
Looks like a mistake by CBP officer. Safe bet is to not to stay after the date listed online. Another way is to go to nearest CBP site and get it corrected. Quote Link to comment
babusan
What if the date listed online is 6 months and the date on the stamp (stamped at the port of entry by the CBP officer) is 3 months. Can they stay for 6 months assuming the online i-94 date is correct. Quote Link to comment
