withdrawal of ead application?

hello,

Filed ead renewal myself, and forgot to include page 7 of my ead (765) application - RD 10/23; got receipt notices. There is a chance that my application could be denied after several months of sitting on the shelf with USCIS. Instead of waiting till that time and possibly be out of status (current ead expires end of Jan'19), I'm thinking of withdrawing my application, to send the complete application. Is this the right course of action?

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
