H1B extension denied after it has been approved

My H1B extension was filed on March 12 2018,and i received a RFE on my case on June 13.My RFE response was filed as premium on August 9 and was approved on august 13.I have received my approved petition in Hand.

2 months later,on Oct 31 2018,USCIS sent a denial notice under category "Specialty occupation".But my case status is still in approved status in USCIS website.

Is this possible that an approved case will be denied after months?Please advise if some one has encountered same situation

USCIS website may not have latest update , it's possible, USCIS may  revoke/deny citing gross error.
