H1B approval with later date than filling date

Hi,

Company A: H1B approval till May 2019
Company B: H1B approval till May 2021

Recently, I transferred my H1B from Company A to Company B. The transfer was filled on Feb 2018 (receipt date) and I got my Company B approval on Oct 2018. The new H1 with Company B is frrom Oct 2018 till May 2021. 

Should it be from the date of filling (Feb 2018) or its ok to be with Oct 2018?
