H1andH4 Posted October 30, 2018 Report Share Posted October 30, 2018 Hi, My H1 is approved on Oct 29th. My spouse is on F2 status and we did not apply for COS from F2 to H4. Now that my H1 is approved can we submit COS from F2 to H4 now? If going to India is the only option, how much time we have to send my spouse to India? Thank you in advance. Link to comment

nih Posted October 30, 2018 Report Share Posted October 30, 2018 Shoud do it ASAP as she is out of F2 status as your F1B is cancelled and you are on H1B. You should consult an attonery. she might be able to change her status while in US. But you should not wait too long otherwise it will create problem for her. Link to comment
