Transfer Fedex Receipt on 60th Day of H1B grace period

Hi, 

I have approved and valid H1b till July 2021, also have approved I-140. My latest I-94 date is June 2021

But I was laid-off in September 

My H1B grace period start date - 08 September 2018

Grace period end date - 06 November 2018 

I am about to get an offer and company has said they will make sure that USCIS received the H1B transfer documents on 5th November (with FedEx confirmation). However employment start date will be 12th November 2018 . 

Can I get an additional 10 days grace period beyond the 60-day grace period. I read on one of the attorney website that it is possible . Another attorney told me it is ok because my I-94 date is way in future. 

 

Is this true ?

USCIS only cares if new I-129 has been received by the office within this 60- day grace period.
