mn123 Posted October 26, 2018 Report Share Posted October 26, 2018 I am with a Company A (contracting firm) and H1 got approved recently and its valid till Dec 31 2018. Company B wants me to transfer my H1 on to them. With no premium processing right now , it takes rough 6 months to get some decision , is it advisable to do so as I will be out of status after Dec 31? . What are my chances that Company A will revoke my H1? Once Company B files a Transfer petition and receives a receipt number , can Company A still revoke my Transfer petition? Link to comment
pontevecchio Posted October 26, 2018 Report Share Posted October 26, 2018 Some research would have told you the old H1 is supposed to be revoked if you leave and that is the law. Once your transfer is on file you can join B and take your chances. I am assuming you did start in H1 status for A. Link to comment
