SSamm105 Posted October 26, 2018 Report Share Posted October 26, 2018 Hi My wife recently renewed my h1b visa in Canada and was only issued 1 year (waited 1.5 months for administrative processing to complete). Her h1b petition status is valid for 3 years. Is it possible to re-apply the h1b visa before it expires? If so, can she re-enter US with my current valid h1b visa if the renewal is AP again? She was told by the attorney that if she got AP during my F1 and now H1b, it will most likely be AP every time. She does need to travel out of country for meetings or conferences and would like to have minimal impact by this issue. Thanks Link to comment
