Changing Jobs before H1B approval. Must travel later

Hello - This is a really tricky situation I am in and I need some expert guidance on this topic.

I am awaiting H1B approval from USCIS. I have to switch my job before the approval comes as the new employer doesn't want to wait - got a new job offer I don't want to say no to. I let the current employer know about the new job offer. They are willing to cooperate, and I have their word that they won't let USCIS know I am no longer with the company. The new employer is willing to pick me on my OPT (valid until next year - 2019). I know transfer petitions can take a million years but I have to travel to India cause I am getting married. There's no way I can change those dates. Now, if my transfer petition is not approved yet, what options do I have to come back to US after marriage ? My OPT is valid until October 2019.

It is not possible to transfer the H1. And the old employer is required BY LAW to inform USCIS if you no longer work there. If they don't do that they would have to continue to pay you.
