H1B dropbox is pending as status is showing Administrative Processing

I was eligible for dropbox and I dropped my documents at Kolkata DropBox center on 9th of October. On 15th of October my visa status is changed to Administrative Processing. My Passport status is showing Your passport is still with the US Embassy/Consulate. 

Till now I did not received any call or email from consulate for any additional documents. Is that mean my case in under 221g refusal? If so why I did not get any communication for further documentation or in person interview? How long it can take to clear this? I already postponed my travel twice. 

My current I797 is expiring on 9th December 2018. Is that the reason for this delay? Will this affect my stamping?

Your assumptions are wrong. Now a days any petition with GOVT is taking minimum 1 to 3 months. So nothing to worry, until consulate get back to you if they need something from you.
