Old EB2 Approved I-140, using PD for I-485 under EB1C

Hello:

I have an Approved I-140 that was filed by a previous employer under EB2 [Mem of profession w/Adv Deg, sec 203(b)(2)]. I-140 has priority date in 2007 (current for India) and was not revoked.

I-485 filed was filed concurrently in 2007 but was not followed through (moved back to India) and subsequently denied in 2009 due to abandonment without prejudice to filing another I-485.

Now in 2018 I am on L1A (intracompany transferee, executive or manager) with another company and have worked abroad for more than 1 year previously with this company.

How do I retain the priority date from my EB2 approved I-140 for my EB1C I-485? Do I need to re-file I-140 with new employer? 

What is the best and fastest way for GC?

The best way is for the company to file a concurrent I-140 along with AOS/EAD/AP BASED on EB2. Your lawyer will cross reference your existing approved EB2 and claim your PD of 2007.
