Can I work for 2 employers simultaneously while H1B Transfer is still in process? Second company manager wants me to work part time before the Transfer is approved by USCIS. My attorney said that we cannot file an amendment for part time while the H1B transfer petition is still pending and i can work part time till the time the application is approved. Once the transfer is approved they asked me to resign from the first company and join the second company full time. Is this a right thing to do? Please advise me on this.

Not possible unless the H1 for the second company was filed as a part-time H1.
