Change of job after EAD...sequence??

I am H1b worker seeking employment based GC with I-140 approved, I-485 applied and received EAD in hand with 180 days passed I-485 submission. And I have completed finger printing at Houston USCIS center last week. From what little knowledge I have, I think that I am eligible to change jobs as AC21 law states. I just need to make sure the sequence of my upcoming actions. Please correct if you find anything that is not right.

• Find new employer with same of similar job with at least equal pay as old job.
• Ask new employer to file I-485-J before starting new job
• Get approval of I-485-J before starting new job
• Start new job
• Proceed with usual GC interview...etc.

The bold items are the ones I am not sure about.
