Because AP is in pending status, I cannot travel internationally as it will be considered as abandonment of that application and will be rejected if I do travel. Can anyone share experience as how many days it usually takes to receive Advanced parole approved? Link to comment

newacct Posted October 9, 2018 Report Share Posted October 9, 2018 Are you in H1b/H4/L1/L2 status? If so, you can leave the US without Advance Parole and return on the same type of visa and it will not abandon your Adjustment of Status (I-485). Although your Advance Parole application will be abandoned, you can just apply for it again when you come back (it is free anyway). Link to comment

I am only worried that in case of some emergency travel comes, what the options going to be for me. Link to comment
