DS 160 - Previous employment question

Hello,

I'm going to chennai for visa appointment in December 2018. I'm confused regarding the employment history. 

• From 08/2018, I currently work for Direct client A who sponsored my H-1B this year. 
• From 07/2017, I worked for the client A as consultant through a company B which had my  H-1B visa. Payroll through consultant B. 

Question: 

1) In the DS 160 employment history for my previous job, should I mention Client A and the address of the company?  

2) During the VO interview, if they ask how long have you working for current company - Should I say from July 2017? 

 

Due to recent scrutiny of interviews, I'm trying to be more precise.

1. Consulting company and their address

2. Explain you were employed to client A through consulting firm with dates in 2017 and now you are a FULL time employee to the same client from and till dates.

Thank you! I'm resubmitting a new DS 160 with the consulting firm for employment history.

I've read in this forum regarding using a new version of DS-160 during the fingerprint and biometric appointment.

You are welcome, you can fill N number of DS-160. The only DS-160 which you show to scan while entering in to embassy matters. Ignore all old DS-160s. Make sure you don't forget updating new Ds-160 number in your appointment details.
