Denial notice for the extension of stay

Hi,

My H1B was approved with denial notice of  extension of stay. New h1b and I worked on cpt. I know I should travel to India and my cpt ends in December 2019.  Can I work on cpt or  I need to attend stamping  and work on the new employment cancelling my cpt

That CPT is the issue. It seems to be fraudulent, which makes you out of status. You have to stop working.

Thanks Joef. Since I have CPT valid until next year and I got approved h1B with denial notice for extension of stay. . What will be my status ?

USCIS has clearly determined that you are out of status, otherwise they would have approved the H1 as COS.

That means that you have to stop working on the CPT.
