Utilization of unused H1B after 5.5 years completion on L1 visas

Hi,

I need your suggestions on my current situation.

I’ve completed 4.5 years in USA with Employer A on L1B visa and Employer B field H1B this year and it got picked in the lottery, still awaiting approval. Now my Employer A is filing L1A and suggested me to go to Canada for approval/stamping. Employer A would initiate GC in EB3 post L1A approval.

Considering, I’ve travelled outside USA and got my L1A approved from Employer A by Jan’20 and later my H1B is approved, my H1B will not be effective until I travel outside USA for H1B stamping.

If, I continue with Employer A on L1A and got I-140 approved in an year(by then I would be completing almost 6yrs in USA), can I use my approved/unused H1B petetion for L1A to H1B COS and continue to work in USA with GC process not affected?
