kssk
Hi, I changed employer A to B in Sep 2017 and got my approved I797 and I94 till sep 2020 with employer B. My current visa validity and I94 is going to expire in May 2018. My questions ---------------------- 1. Can I stay in USA as a lawful non-immigrant based on new I797 with employer B ? or Do I need to go out of country for stamping before my visa expires ? 2. If I go to india before visa expires which is May 2018. Can I have DROP BOX option ? I am doubting because I changed my employer A to B and my current is visa is with old employer A till May 2018. 3. Based on point#1 if you say I have 240 days grace period after current visa expires to go out of country to get it stamped then in this case can I go for DROP BOX option ? Appreciate your response. Thanks, Kumar. Link to comment
02112018
1. You don't specifically have to go for stamping. 2. When you fill out Ds-160 it will show you if you are eligible for drop box or not. 3. See answer A Link to comment
