vgovind87
In the DS-160 form there is a question regarding " are your parents in the US ? " . is the question pertaining to parents with " GC, citizenship visas only" or it also includes tourist visa presence in the country ? 2) Are all the questions in the DS-160 pertaining to situations based on the day of the interview or the current situation while filing out the form ? 02112018
Be true and mention YES if you are parents are in u.s on what ever the visa. Nothing wrong. If you specify "NO" they still can see the strings connected to your passport. But these are normal questions not based on visa status or anything, in case if they like to know what visa your parents on, there should be another field pop up to enter their visa type if not you are good to go. vgovind87
Hi 02112018, thanks for your reply. But I am just confused as to what do they imply by that question ? 1) Physical presence ( tourist visa etc) or like permanent presence like GC or citizenship ? Link to comment
