I am on a L1A blanket visa and entered USA in Dec-2015. I have a visa stamped till 2020 and have I-94 valid also for the same period. However, my I-129 is valid only till Nov 2018. Does my employer have to file an I-129 /L1A visa extension ?

Also, my wife is working on L2-EAD with a valid EAD till 2020. Will her EAD be valid even if an extension is filed?
