Karthika1986
Hi, need urgent help and advise. Company A - I94 expired back on Aug30 and H1B extension got denied today after the RFE. The employer is yet to receive the physical copy of the notice. Company B - Also has offer from Company B and the H1B transfer is in progress, received RFE and yet to be responded. Questions: - 1. Is there a 2 weeks notice period in this scenario with CompanyA before joining Company B? 2. How soon the employment with Company B to be started (now with Company A extension denied)? 3. Will the extension denial with Company A impact the H1B transfer with Company B by any change? Any advise on this will be really appreciated. Thanks in advance! Link to comment
NotAnAttorney
1. That notice period is something what you have agreed with company A. But in this case it's no longer required and you should stop working for company A as it got denied. 2. Any day, as soon as possible like today. So that you will be in status. 3.Not necessarily. Karthika1986
Thanks for the response! Got another question now. With respect to above scenario, Company B's joining date is 10/15. Company B responded to RFE last week and today got 2nd RFE on it. Yet to receive the notice to know the reason. What are the chances of the H1b transfer approval after getting 2 RFEs? please advise.
