H1 to H4 EAD to H1 conversion

Hello,

I was on h1 from Oct 2013 to March 2017. Then I switched to H4 EAD from April 2017. My H4 and EAD are valid till Nov 2020. I am still employed with the same employer who applied for my H1 and I didn't take any break from work since 2013.

1. Can I switch back to H1 visa again with the same employer by change of status? 
2. Since I have valid EAD now, Can I switch to H1 visa when my EAD is about to end by 2020 by change of status? 
3. If I do, how long can i can work on H1 visa (Do I get the remaining years on H1 that is 2.5 years) and thereafter can I start my GC process?
