happytohelp
Hi Team, I am currently on H4 visa, and my spouse's employer have applied for his H1B and mine H4 extension on 13th Sept. Our I-94 expires on 21st Sept. As per Fedex status, we see the documents have already reached to USCIS on13th Sept, however we haven't received receipt notice yet. Also, I was working as FTE on H4 EAD however, due to loss of work authorization I couldn't continue my employment. My employer had applied for H4 to H1B (change of status) in FY 2019. However, the status is yet as "Case was received". My Questions: 1) Can we continue to stay in US post our I-94 expiry and with no receipt number in hand? 2) Because I will not have approval notice for H4 anytime by end of September, is there a still chance that my H1-B (change of status from H4 to H1-B) will be approved? 3) Anyone from H1-B (FY 2019) are still awaiting for the decision ?? Me or my employer haven't received any update about my case. H1-B status is yet as Case was received. Link to comment
