H1B to L1A

I am currently on H1B with my employer. Its been 4 years on H1B and still have nearly 2 more years.  The same employers would like to file fresh Blanket L1A for me as I qualify for it( I have played manager at offshore before travelling US for the same employeer). 

I need a clarification on, what will happen to my current H1B petition after me getting fresh blanket L1A?  Can I re-use my H1B to transfer to another employee after me getting L1A.   Or will I be blocked with L1A employeer and cannot use H1B petition for transfer?

Request you to please help clarifying my concern.  Thanks in advance.

For an L1, you have to have worked d for the employer abroad for at least a year in the last 3 years. Since you say you've been on H1 for 4 years you don't seem to fulfill that requirement.
