hodorr
Hi, Is it Good to go in November or start of January for H1B Visa Stamping in Chennai . I am thinking based on my status i might get 221G. Just trying to allocate two months time. So which time is preferable to go with lesser holidays and processing time's are faster in which month ? Please help/guide. Thanks, Quote Link to comment
02112018
Decision is based on your status, profile. You are the best judge about consular decision. Not sure why but you already knew that you might get 221G so if possible try to have all supporting docs to not go get 221G unless you have a DUI/DWI. No difference if you go in Nov/Jan if your profile has some red flags. Quote Link to comment
gopalakrishnach
My advice avoid Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. See the holiday calendar for the consulate where you intend to attend the interview. Try to avoid as many holidays you can. Quote Link to comment
hodorr
Thanks for the tips. This is for DV not DUI/DWI. For Supporting Doc's in my case , Can i drop it off all the supporting docs like court letter, attorney letter in drop box itself ? or only if they called for in-person interview we need to provide ? Also will they ask to go for medical evaluation for DV? Quote Link to comment
02112018
If DV means Domestic Violence in U.S / in your home country not sure how USCIS will process & takes time to process your case but submit all the docs including court letter etc to speed up process, instead of waiting for embassy to call you to submit more docs. If needed they send you for medical evaluation . Quote Link to comment
