Could some one please explain me what below case status mean ?

On September 15, 2018, we began reviewing your Form I-129, Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker, Receipt Number WAC**********. We mailed you a notice informing you of the action we intend to take on your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice and submit any requested materials. If you do not receive your notice by September 29, 2018, please call the USCIS Contact Center at 1-800-375-5283. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

Usually its not a good sign . Could be a denial or NOID . When did you apply ?

Thank you for your reply. Applied in Apr 2018 and got through the lottery.

Any possible reasons you can think for the denial or NOID before we get to hear the actual reason from USCIS ?

Very hard to predict. This status in most cases means uscis is asking extensive documentation from company and requires to submit the evidence in 30 days .

gud luck . Dont worry if your company can provide all the documents asked ypu should be fine

My status was updated today to "Notice Explaining USCIS’ Actions Was Mailed".

It is for "Notice Of Intent To Deny". Following are the issues mentioned in the document :

1. Employer - Employee Relationship
2. Position is not a Specialty Occupation
3. Itinerary

Thanks for the response. I have been following a lot of blogs and found that issuing a NOID for Cap petitions is very uncommon.

For me, it turned out to be a NOID as well and I was scrambling to get things together in order to file the response. 

The reasons stated were Employee - Employer Relation, Position is not a Speciality Occupation, and Maintenance of Full Course of Study.

Any update on your application status?

We responded to NOID (Notice Of Intent to Deny), but unfortunately the H1B application got denied recently...

What have you done after that? Did you file MTR or did you change to any other status?
