i140 approved but denied in consulate

Hello,

 

My i140 was approved in Dec, 2016 for EB1C category. I opted for consular processing and is denied in consular interview.

Application shows admin processing since last 5 months.

I already have B1 visa valid for 10 years.

 

My questions are:

1. Can I do something about my current application. Can I travel to US and apply for adjustment after denied in consular processing.

2. Can I recapture my i140 and get another job to apply for adjustment.

No you cannot enter on a NIV visa (in this case, B) with intent to Adjust status. That is fraudulent use of the visa, hence visa fraud! 

Why was the visa denied?  Or is it in AP, which technically is not a denial.
