CVP
Hi everyone, I applied for a J-1 No objection Statement waiver back in March, by myself without any representative. My case was updated in April and "sponsor views " were requested and received on May 29th. My case is still showing pending: I tried to contact the DOS on several occasions to know if there is anything/document missing. I received a general reply and not anything specific about my questions and so far, I am still waiting. Now I had to return to my home country since my J-1 visa expired and I couldn't stay any longer in the US. I am very worried about my situation since I had a job offer and my new visa petition is pending the waiver approval. Besides, I have no idea of long more will I have to wait for a letter from DOS. Could anyone please help? Also, do you think it would be better to hire a lawyer at this point? Thank you so much in advance! CP Link to comment
