carlweathers
I am a US citizen and want to sponsor my wife who is an Indian citizen. I have been in India on a multi entry tourist visa twice in the last two years and staying with my wife, one trip was six months long and one (current) trip is already 8 months long and likely to be 10 months by the time I get back to the US. I am currently not employed anywhere. The I-130 asks the petitioner to "List your physical addresses for the last 5 years, whether inside or outside the United States". Do I list out my India visits / address stayed at in India? I am maintaining a permanent address in the US where I receive mail, etc, but given the length of the trips to India I was wondering if these visits should be listed out.. Link to comment
Provence
Yes, list all locations you've lived in longer than six months on the i130. Trips longer than six months are considered living, and not visiting. Does the Indian government allow living there for that long on a tourist visa? Link to comment
pontevecchio
The Indian Government allows people with OCI to stay as long as one wants to. Link to comment
Provence
OP hasn't mentioned OCI. He wrote multiple entry tourist visa. Link to comment
