apply for h4 ead for first time after change in company with active I140 approved from different company

Hi,

I have my I140 approved with Company A on Jan 2018. I transferred my H1 to company B on May 2018. Company A accepted not to revoke my approved I140 which means I have my I140 still active.

I want to apply H4 EAD for my spouse. Can you please let me know if this is still valid to apply H4 EAD with Company A approved I140.
