Can H4 dependents stay in different state than the H1b holder?

Can the H4 dependent stay in a  different state and H1b holder in a different state for say 6 months ? Idea for H4 is to stay together agreed, but due to certain situations if we choose to stay separate for a few months , is that fine? Will there be any issues with USCIS

I don't think there are any issues living separate as long as both are living in the USA.  I am sure you are not alone in this situation.
